The Open Water Referral programme offers a calm, skill-focused way to learn scuba diving without pressure. You’ll complete all required pool training and theory in a controlled environment, giving you the time and space to understand the equipment, build confidence, and decide if you want to continue.

Course structure
Practical Information
  • Minimum age: 10 years

  • Duration: Flexible, typically 2–3 days

  • Prerequisites: Basic swimming ability & medical clearance

  • Open Water Dives: Not included in this programme

  • Certification: Issued after completion of open water dives

  • Knowledge Development: Complete the full PADI Open Water eLearning at your own pace.

  • Confined Water (Pool) Training: Learn and practice all required Open Water skills in the pool, focusing on comfort, control, and confidence.

  • Decision Point: After completing the pool training, you can choose to:

    • Continue with your open water dives locally

    • Finish your certification at a destination of your choice

    • Pause with no obligation, all completed training remains valid
